Kathleen Marie — nationally recognized artist . . .
a deep love and connection to nature is what inspires Kathleen's art
as well as her lifestyle. Kathleen's unique art medium of pyrography
is a superb blending of realistic rendering within the abstract
character of wood grain. Pyrography translates to fire drawing.
Kathleen's technique involves burning images into wood with a delicate
electric pen and then sometimes applying color. Like a sculptor,
she sees pictures and stories in the wood. Kathleen invites you
to share her vision as her art comes alive on these pages.
